If you want to check out a new restaurant, or tired of getting your tacos and nachos and such from the same place, there's a new option that just opened their doors.

You'll have to head to Syracuse to try out this taco place, but after looking over their menu, I think it'll be worth the trip. I'm definitely looking forward to trying this new restaurant. It's called "XO Taco," and they serve up a variety of tacos, nachos, some unique sides, and cocktails and margaritas.

I first heard about this new, tasty taco joint after Syracuse.com posted an article about them, and focused on how each tortilla is made by hand. Which is awesome, and makes for better-tasting tacos. And after taking a peek at their menu, your mouth will be watering. Maybe you'll want to go for their "Hot Chix" taco, which is made with roasted chicken, onion, and cilantro. They also have tacos with beef, shrimp, fish, and other ingredients. Maybe you're more of a nachos fanatic. If that's the case, you may want to try their "Nacho Supremo" with queso, black beans, crema, pico, jalapenos, onion, and cilantro. XO Taco also has sides like "chipotle slaw," sliced avocados, and even fries or seasoned rice. You can take a look at their menu for yourself at: XOTaco.com

You can also take a look at their drink options at the menu link (above). XO Taco offers five different special cocktails and five margaritas. Each margarita is $10, and they ALL sound amazing. The restaurant also offers a few varieties of white and red wine.

We have some options for tacos and nachos throughout Central New York, but not THAT many. It's nice to have another place like this opening up. And the drive to Syracuse isn't too far, so this place is a great option. If you make your way to XO Taco before I get the chance, let me know what you think of them - You can always leave me a comment or message on our Lite 98.7 Facebook Page.

You'll find XO Taco at 713 East Fayette Street in Syracuse. They're open Tuesday through Saturday from 4pm to 11pm each day. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
