How many of your retired family members decided to move out of New York after they stopped working? According to a study by Bankrate.com,: New York ranked dead last in the retirement rankings.

Six factors were figured into the survey: Cost of living, crime rate, community well being, health care quality, tax rate, and weather.  Wyoming, South Dakota, and Colorado were listed as the top 3 best states to retire in. The bottom three consisted of Oregon, West Virginia, and you guessed it, New York.

Do you know of anyone who is happily retired in New York? Is this just another senseless survey, or is there some truth to this. Naomi and I want to know your thoughts. Give us a call at 721-0987, or post your comments on our Facebook page.
