Say the "North County" to someone from Upstate New York and they'll get a pretty clear definition in their mind. The Adirondacks, the St. Lawrence and and that vast open country south of the Canadian border. But where exactly does the "North County" begin?

Ogdensburg and Potsdam, sure. Utica and Amsterdam, no way. Old Forge and Boonville, maybe.

The line is likely somewhere along the Oneida-Lewis county border along with the Herkimer County, north of Route 28. That's my best guess .
