The first week of July, 2018 was spent experiencing and discussing the severe and dangerous heat conditions that oppressed Central New York and the rest of the Northeast. We also covered fears, fridges, and one particular freak of nature.

Click the video above for a brief highlight package of clips from the week that was on the Lite 98.7 morning show, and/or follow along to the following description of The Best of Beth & Dave for the week of July 2, 2018:

Our deepest fears. I watched Beth confront one face-to-face on the 4th of July for about two hours, as she was crippled with fear while trying to attempt to dive off a dock into a lake, so we all disclosed our fears about heights, confined spaces, and more.

Horrible movie choices. In our disclosure of fears, I joked about my fear of terrible movies and we tore apart our rental selection--"The Hurricane Heist."

People judge us due to the state of our fridge. Really. An odd factoid we learned one day in The Kinda Hard Question that we throw out there every day at 7:05.

The everyday activity 97% of us do incorrectly. Another Kinda Hard Question with a surprising answer.

LeBron James' new 4-year, $154 million deal to play basketball in Los Angeles. We all speculated what skill we could offer in order to make "LeBron James Money."
