On New Year's Eve, the owners of Ocean Blue announced they would be opening a new restaurant - but the location was a mystery...until now.

Michael and Francis Pezzolanella, who oversaw the successful redevelopment of the Landmarc Building in downtown Utica were awarded $800,000 from the Empire State Development Corporation for the rehabilitation of the former Oneida Bank building on Genesee Street.

According to WKTV.com, "the five-story building, which currently sits vacant, will be transformed into a mixed-use facility. The goal is a space providing food service, retail, office, commercial, and manufacturing capabilities."

The Pezzolanella's previously said the new restaurant would be very different from their successful Ocean Blue - which specializes in seafood. They hope to have the new location open by the end of 2019, when they plan on hosting their New Year's Eve party at the new location.
