This monumental house is located Western New York town of Pittsford, and it is truly unique. According to Onlyinyourstate.com:

Mushroom House was built between 1970 and 1972 with the help of architect James Johnson. The Mushroom House was originally built for Robert and Marguerite Antell, a married couple looking to build a home that was groovy, far out and full with natural materials.

If you've always wanted to live like a fungi, or a fun girl, well you're out of luck; at least for the moment. Unfortunately, the house isn't for sale. However, you can take a virtual tour of the home that was designed by more than 20 artists including renowned architect James Johnson. The mushroom house is made up of more than 80 tons of concrete.
