Oprah to Interview Barack, Michelle Obama on April 27
Here is something you may not know about me, Mark Richards, I watch OWN, (Oprah Winfrey Network). There are some very interesting investigative reporting shows on that channel.
According to the LA Times, the daytime icon will interview President Barack Obama and his wife, First Lady Michelle, on April 27.
The interview will take place in Chicago, where Winfrey films her show, a White House official said today.
The actual episode is scheduled to air on May 2. Winfrey’s final episode of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ airs on May 25. You can see ‘behind the scenes’ shows on OWN.
In 2008, Winfrey publicly endorsed Barack Obama for President, the first time she’s ever publicly supported a presidential candidate in her show’s 25-year history. She has yet to endorse him for his re-election next year.(LA Times)
