Feel like you've packed on the pounds since the holidays? Well, you're not alone. A new survey by the indoor trampoline park Jump Zone reveals that 40% of people gained at least seven pounds from Thanksgiving to New Year's. No wonder so many people start diets! 

The survey also found 50% of people will spend up to 3 months shedding their holiday weight. I'm guessing New Year's Resolutions for weight loss probably up the sales of gym memberships this time of year.

So what are some of the excuses people use for not being able to lose weight? 47% of people will blame work for them not following through on their New Year's resolution to lose weight while 38% of people will blame tiredness and laziness for them not exercising .

What type of meals are people binge eating on while they are suppose to be dieting? 40% of people choose pizza while 30% choose Chinese food.
