This year, March Madness has gone to a whole new level, thanks to Warren Buffett.  He's offering $1 billion to the person who picks a perfect NCAA bracket. While the possibility of a billion dollars is enough to get just about anyone's attention, even those who don't follow basketball, keep this in mind.  The LA Times reports the odds of picking a perfect NCAA bracket are about one in one billion.  There's that billion number again.

Quicken Loans is sponsoring the contest with Buffet and if you think you can correctly pick the winner of all 67 games, the contest starts on March 3rd to the first ten million people who enter online.

Should you have the extraordinary luck of getting to the Final Four with your bracket, be prepared for Buffet to try to cut a deal with you.  Cue the "Godfather" music.

If you get to the Final Four with a perfect bracket, I may buy you out of your position.  I'll make you an offer you can't refuse.

If there is a grand prize winner, they can pick between receiving $25 million a year for forty years or a lump-sum payment of $500 million.  Quicken Loans is also offering $100,000 prizes for each top 20 brackets which are submitted.

Good luck getting all 67 games correct!
