You gotta love local theater.  Believe it or not, there is plenty of local talent right here in Central New York, and much of it has gathered together on State Street in Utica to put on this great production. Here is an opportunity for you to catch some of it at a price that is a lot cheaper than catching a show on Broadway.

Players of Utica is getting ready to start it's 2015/2016 season with "Promises Promises", a romantic musical comedy, set in the mid sixties (Think Mad Men) based on Neil Simon's "The Apartment", with music by Burt Bacharach, directed by Dan Fusillo.

If you look closely, you just might catch your nighttime host doing the twist!  Or a reasonable facsimile anyway.

Here is a brief synopsis of the show, taken from the Players of Utica website:

Chuck Baxter is an ambitious bachelor and junior executive for a large insurance company, who expresses his frustrations and hopes for career advancement. He allows his apartment to be used by his superiors for their romantic trysts in return for promises of promotion.
