Lately I've been addicted to Popcorn, Indiana. The company produces a line of gourmet popcorn. So I wondered, is there really a place in the Hoosier state called Popcorn?

Yes, Virginia, there is a Popcorn, Indiana

My first clue was this small map on the back of the Popcorn, Indiana bag. The map shows a location in the southwest corner of the state, somewhere near Bloomington or Evansville.  According to Wikipedia, Popcorn is a hamlet in Lawrence County.

The community sits at the corner of Popcorn Road and Popcorn Church Road and Popcorn Creek flows through the community.

Here is Popcorn, Indiana on Google Maps.
