Have you ever seen a live animal display at a fair allowing patrons to have their photo taken with a large lion or tiger? Such attractions are now illegal in New York State.

The law says that fair patrons are no longer allowed to come into contact with big cats. Animal advocates say the young tigers are removed from their parents and neglected.

An example of such an exhibit is below from the 2014 Florida State Fair. Fairgoers paid $20 each to enter the tiger cage to take photos with and pet the baby tiger.
