Psy To Star In ‘Gangnam’ Super Bowl Ad

As heard in you ET radio minute this morning during the Most Music Morning Show, the big game is going Gangnam Style. Psy set social-media and you tube records with his Gangnam Style music and dancing video, and now we'll see him in a Super Bowl commercial for Wonderful Pistachios. The commercial was recently filmed in North Hollywood and is the first Super Bowl ad for Wonderful Pistachios.

"The Super Bowl is way too big for me,"

jokes Psy who's real name Jai-Sang Park.

"I never dreamed of being a singer in America, so I of course never dreamed of being in a Super Bowl ad."

The offbeat video by Psy, 'Gangnam Style', poking fun at the upper-class lifestyle in South Korea, claims to have notched 1.1 billion YouTube views, but that is in question as some say many views are faked. Anyway, it's popular enough to be used in the ad where Psy wears a pistachio- green suit displaying a special way to crack open pistachios. Are you looking forward to seeing the ad during the game?
