Pumpkin Prices On The Rise
Growing up the tradition of carving a pumpkin always made Halloween all the more fun. You got candy, and you were able to use a knife to slice open a pumpkin! When we were little pumpkins were generally cheap, that’s not the case this year.

In certain parts of the country, pumpkin prices are on the rise. Guess where that part lands? The Northeast. It all makes sense, Hurricane Irene flooded fields and drowned crops. Even if the pumpkins weren’t under water, the especially wet growing season is causing trouble. It’s creating fungus disease and stopping the pumpkins from getting larger.
