Pumpkins, Hayrides, Indian Corn and Strawberries?

There's a farm in Clinton, NY that is celebrating fall in fantastic fashion - hayrides, u-pick pumpkins, u-pick Indian corn, cider doughnuts...and the freshest u-pick strawberries and veggies.

Yes, you read that right. It's October and you can still pick fresh strawberries at Savicki's Farm Market in Clinton.

Once again this weekend they are offering their fall hayrides, which include the ride around the farm, a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, u-pick Indian corn, a trip through the indoor straw maze and the outdoor play area. And they have all the other fall favorites you love - mums, corn stalks and straw bales. Even fresh baked goods like cider doughnuts. But they're one of the only farms in the area that also offers u-pick strawberries and vegetables in their hydroponic fields.

Thanks to this unique planting method, they are able to grow multiple seasons of fruits and vegetables, even during months when we ordinarily can't find them locally. Savicki's Facebook post says they're almost done for the season, so stop by to pick some soon. You can find directions and hours on their Facebook page as well.
