I was really worried about the weekend - with all that extra time on my hands, would I be able to make it through without smoking? I guess every attempt to quit has a moment of weakness...

First thing - I'm really proud I made it to Day 5 and 6. I'm not going to lie, I had my doubts - but I made it that far, which means I can make it further.

I did have my moment of weakness on Saturday. That's right... I messed up. Saturday I bought a pack of cigarettes. It was just stupid. I didn't need them - I didn't even want them that bad, but I wanted them just enough to buy them. The best part about buying those cigarettes? I felt SO guilty - they didn't make me feel better, they tasted terrible, and I knew I wasted my money.

I guess every attempt to quit has a moment of weakness - whether you give in to that weakness or not, is the most important part. I messed up and gave into mine - but it's not over yet. It's time to get back up, dust myself off, and continue what I started - Quitting Smoking Challenge: Day 1.
