Utica has taken a lot of flack over the years but now comes a naysayer's rebuttal. Here are 5 reasons you should consider moving to Utica.

We can think at least 5 reasons we're proud to call Utica our home.

1. Fabulous Food

If you've never lived in Utica, you're missing out on some of the best food in in the country. If you're a pizza lover, move to Utica. According to Find the Company.com:

2. Little Traffic Congestion

Utica offers many of the same amenities that bigger cities offer without the major traffic jams. It's nice to be just minutes away from the best restaurants, shops, schools, and businesses without having to worry about making it to your destination on time.

Routes 8, 12, 5, and 5a are some of Utica's busiest highways, but even on the most bustling days you're likely not to be held up for more than fifteen minutes.

3. The People

Utica, New York is home to some of the most kind and generous people we've ever met. They're always willing to lend a helping hand, and Utican's are some of the most down to earth and genuine folks in the state. Typically you'll never have to second guess what a Utican is trying to tell you; most speak their minds, but they also genuinely care.
