It's that time of the year again - The Remsen Barn Festival of the Arts is back! Head down Main Street in Remsen this Saturday and Sunday for all the fun.

Every year for the last 37 years, the fourth weekend in September is dedicated to the Remsen Barn Fest. It's a weekend full of family fun with vendors and crafters, live shows, farmer's markets, and tons of other activities and things to see and do.

There is also a corn maze that will be open both days, and a baking contest for both kids and adults. And did we mention the food? Well, there will be a lot of it available from BBQ to frozen desserts and everything in between.

Main Street in Remsen gets blocked off Saturday and Sunday to line the road with more than 250 crafters and vendors. You'll be able to find just about anything at the booths - from clothing and accessories to jewelry to soaps and glass work. Don't forget to stop by and check out the birdhouses and holiday items. Admission to the event is free, and there are tons of areas for parking (one less thing to worry about!)

The festival runs from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.

They do ask that you don't bring your pets to this event. There are a lot of people around, and even if your dog is very nice, it could be a potential hazard.
