The Central New York Ride for Missing Children is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The Ride is held each year to raise public awareness of the plight of missing children and is the biggest fundraiser for the Mohawk Valley Office of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

For those not riding or volunteering, there will be a new way to get involved.

A Mobile Telethon will be held on ride day and there will also be a Text to Donate option available from June 3rd to June 10th.

You'll be able to text SAFEKIDSNY to 20222 and $25 will appear as a donation on your monthly cell phone bill.

The Ride will take place on Friday, June 3rd.
