Rocky Horror Picture Show Coming to The Stanley in Utica
Just in time for Halloween, the greatest rock n' roll musical of all time is coming to the Stanley Theatre in downtown Utica. Cue the lights for the Rocky Horror Picture Show!
'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' is a cult classic, and it's coming to The Stanley on October 30th. Not only will you get to enjoy the show, but they're doing a 'Rocktail Party' as well. According to The Stanley's website,
The one night only event begins at 7pm with a Rocktail Party featuring music, costume contest, refreshments for sale and highly anticipated live entertainment provided by Team Larry. Members of the Glam Rock band "Wicked" will also be on site to sign autographs! Then, at 8pm the main event begins, the screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show!
Now, if you don't know anything about Rocky Horror, you may want to look it up before going to an event like this, (and don't look it up at work! Trust me, just don't do it). It is such a... 'unique' show, but it's definitely worth it. You'll laugh, you'll cry, Oh, and did a mention there's audience participation??
