Rod’s “Bloody Exhausted” Thanks to New Baby Aiden
March 21, 2011 10:10 AM Rod Stewart’s wife Penny gave birth to their baby boy Aiden on February 16th and Rod says while she and the baby are doing fine, he’s finding being a Dad at age sixty six “bloody exhausting.” However, he also says he’s very proud and lucky to have this baby in his life and he’s amazed by how mothers manage to do it all.
He tells “Hello!” magazine that his wife Penny hasn’t had much sleep since the baby was born but she’s able to pull it all off. He says, “I”ll never quite understand how mothers manage to do it. She hasn’t had much sleep since little Aiden was born. They just wake up and they want feeding and comforting. So I take my hat off to mothers, especially my Penny.” Rod also says the baby shouts when he holds him but is nice and peaceful when Penny holds him. Despite being exhausted, he has no plans to slow down anytime soon. He and Stevie Nicks begin their “Heart & Soul” tour this weekend in Florida.
