Rome Police have made an arrest following an investigation into the armed robbery at Adirondack Bank on Black River Boulevard.

On Thursday, April 13th Police responded to the scene of a robbery at the bank in Rome. The suspect was armed with a handgun and jumped the counter demanding money. That suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On Saturday, April 15th Rome Police arrested 47-year-old Paul Guarneri of Rome. It is believed that Guarneri is the alleged robber of that bank and has been charged with robbery in the 1st degree. He has been remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility.
