You voted Zensations Therapeutic Massage as the best place in Central New York to get a massage, so I took your advice and checked them out for myself.

First of all, I just want to say Thank You to everyone who nominated and voted for their favorite places to get a massage in Central New York, I couldn't have made this decision on my own (there are just SO many options).

Zensations Therapeutic Massage won with the most votes, so I scheduled a massage, and it's safe to say you guys were right. They were amazing. I decided to get the "Un-Bee-Lievable You!" treatment which includes a full body Swedish massage and a facial (and the facial included cleanser, a mask, eye serum, and a face massage). Go big or go home, right?! Of course the massage was amazing, but it was all the details that I loved. Details, from the heated massage table to having the parts of the body that get ignored like the forearms and knees get massaged (which I didn't know could be SO relaxing). Plus the room itself, the soft music in the background, the sound of water, and the lighting. Everything about this trip was perfect. One of the best parts though, is when I was done with everything they didn't just "shoo" me out of the place. You can take a few minutes to relax after the massage, take your time getting dressed and heading out, and even when I was paying for the massage we sat and talked for a bit. There was no rush, which is the last thing you want after trying to relax.

I've been in such a great mood since my massage. Yes, I still have deadlines to meet and a busy schedule that adds pressure (even though I don't have kids so I don't have to try to figure out their schedules, what's for dinner and all that), but I've noticed a difference in how I feel. Instead of feeling like I'm out of time and there's no way I can get this all done, I feel like it's okay, I'll figure it out.

No matter how busy you are, you have to make time for yourself. A little rest and relaxation will go a long way and help you feel better in your daily life. Even if you don't think you have the time for it, I suggest you schedule a massage (or getting your hair done or manicure, or something) and make sure you don't cancel. If you only get a little "you" time once a month, it's still better than waiting until you have time to schedule. You'll keep pushing it off.

Plus when you're done, you'll be so glad you did it, and feel refreshed and rejuvenated when you get back to your hectic, busy life.
