Good news, the North Genesee St. southbound exit ramp to John, Broad and Whitesboro Streets is expected to reopen on or about Tuesday, the 6th, weather permitting. Until then, the signed detour directing motorists to use Route 5S west and Seneca Street to access Whitesboro Street and the train station will remain in effect.
Also, the Rt. 5S eastbound bridge over Pitcher Street has a shoulder closure and shortened exit ramp at the Turner Street exit that will continue throughout the winter.
In New Hartford, Rt. 840 eastbound between Clark Mills Road and Middle Settlement Road is still under repair. Motorists will encounter a lane and/or shoulder closure, along with minor delays, due to construction work on the access ramp to the New Hartford Business Park.
Drive carefully.
