Rude Waitress Goes Viral

Normally, rude service has customers complaining, but at Ed Debevic's in Chicago, it's the norm. The restaurant is known for their crude waitresses and one is taking the internet by storm.

LaNetta Limb Maxfield, who was visiting the Windy City, says "we hadlunch at Ed Debevic's in Chicago--known for its "rudeness." It was hilarious. Our waitress would probably be fired if she was caught being nice."

The waitress, who's name is 'Cherry,' threw insults at the adults for ordering off the children’s menu. “You wanna cheap out, that’s cool.”

When one customer voiced his displeasure at the rudeness, Cherry fired back. “You know what, grandpa? If you want good service, you go somewhere else. I know Hooters is probably more your speed but you came here on purpose.”

The video has been seen over 4.5 million times since being posted on Facebook, August 10th.

'Cherry' tells WGN News in Chicago, she's been "filmed or photographed every shift for the past 11 years," but it's never gone viral like this. "We even had a social media contest a few years back, that I lost," she jokes.
