Aretha Franklin has got to be impressed with this little girl!

The "Queen of Soul," Aretha Franklin is one of the most passionate and soulful singers ever. I was fortunate enough to sit next to her at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Ironically, I didn't know who it was until she stood up to accept an award. Up until that point, the only thing I knew was that there was a woman sitting next to me wearing a bright lime green dress.

After she received her statue, she sat back down in her chair and Chris Brown walked up to her and "respectfully" bowed to her. Shortly after that, she was surrounded by other well-known artists: Tony Bennett, Carrie Underwood, and Taylor Swift all paid their "respects" to Aretha. To this day, I can't believe that I had the high privilege of sitting next to this extraordinary woman.

A little girl in North Carolina recently decided to perform a tap dance routine to Aretha's "Respect." Watch her strut her stuff and show off her sass while audience members just can't seem to get their fill of this miniature dancing queen!

Elissa Colón from Raleigh, North Carolina, proudly filmed her daughter Johanna's tap dance routine over the weekend, as she watched on while the little girl stole the show with her sassy moves, oozing attitude worthy of diva Aretha herself.
