It's here - Arts & Crafts Show season! We've had a couple exciting shows already this year, and another big one is coming up this weekend.

The Sauquoit Valley Fine Arts & Craft Show is in it's 38th year of providing an amazing array of exhibitors in a casual setting. There are over 100 vendors and displays of fine quality arts and crafts - you're sure to find some great holiday decorations, as well as paintings, local and regional photography and unique ideas for home decor.

One interesting feature of this show - you can drop off your kids while you shop. That's right, an adult supervised kid's arts and crafts room will keep them busy while you stroll the displays. There is an extra fee for this - just $3 per hour.

The Sauquoit Valley show also offers a plethora of food choices - full lunches, decadent desserts, gourmet coffee, homemade pies and more.

This event is an annual fundraiser for the school, but it provides so much more. Here are some details from their website -

All funds raised during this Sauquoit Valley PTO event support beneficial arts and educational programs for all students, in addition to funding the field trips the students take. By providing this fascinating marketplace, this show and the attending public make it possible for countless artists to pursue careers they truly love. (SVCraftShow.com)
