Photos, Video, and Interviews From Search For Missing Levon Wameling As Search Continues In Utica
It has been two months and two days since missing Utica child Levon Wameling was last seen. On Wednesday (July 31, 2013), Utica police and K-9 units moved to a wooded area in North Utica to resume search efforts, based on some kind of tip or information, according to Utica Public Information Officer Sgt. Steven Hauck.
Amy Warney, Baby Levon’s mom, spoke with the press:
She is inviting the public to participate in a balloon let-go on what will be Levon’s birthday, August 31, 2013 at 748 Jay Street at approximately 5:30pm.
Baby Levon Wamelling’s mom, Amy Warney, is inviting the public to a birthday celebration of life on August 31st at 748 Jay St in Utica between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Bring a balloon and they will be released in the air together. With any luck baby Levon will be there to celebrate as well.
The area where the search is being conducted includes a construction site and body of water:
Warney says she has not spoken with Jessica Pasho, whose baby passed away while sleeping with her and Javon years ago.
Jessica Pasho is the woman who lived with Jevon Wameling for “a couple of years,” and the mother of the baby girl who died in 2005 . She says her association with Jevon Wameling should not be the focus of the story of missing baby Levon Wameling .
Utica Police Sergeant Steve Hauck addresses the media attention surrounding the Wameling case:
Family friend Anna Vinci, known by the children as “Aunt Anna,” was the last person to see Baby Levon before his father picked him up from her home.
Interview with Anna Vinci:
Levon Wameling has been missing since May 29, 2013. Javon Wameling, his father and the person with whom Levon was last seen, has not been named a suspect in the case.
