Generally speaking, the Radio Disney Awards tend not to be one of the more highly anticipated awards shows of the year -- but the 2013 edition will have at least few more eyeballs turned its direction, thanks to some potentially awkward scheduling.

The Hollywood Reporter points out that former sweethearts Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are both slated to present at the show, scheduled to take place on April 27 at L.A. Live's Nokia Theatre. It'll be a rare public reunion for the once-inseparable couple, whose breakup presaged a turbulent spell for Bieber that has seen pop idol suffer a series of setbacks, including a bumpy European tour, the loss of his pet monkey, and a bizarre visit to the Anne Frank Museum.

Gomez, meanwhile, has had a smoother go of things, transitioning to grown-up movie roles with her appearance in the edgy 'Spring Breakers' and ramping up for her new tour and the release of her upcoming album -- but she's endured her fair share of controversy, with some viewers taking offense to her bindi-enhanced appearance at the MTV Movie Awards. Maybe a reunion is what these two need to get themselves back on track -- even if it is just for one night.
