Saturday Night Live held their 40th anniversary show last night, and it was everything you could have hoped it to be. The best part of course, was their tribute to 'Weekend Update.'

My favorite part of Saturday Night Live was always "Weekend Update," so when they did a tribute to it as part of their 40th anniversary show, I was ecstatic! Not only did they do a great job (like always), but they seriously nailed it - the best "Weekend Update!"

The women of "Weekend Update" got together for this one, including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and even Jane Curtin. After a quick 'news' segment, they brought in special guests to pay tribute to their favorite SNL characters. Emma Stone played Gilda Radner's 'Roseanne Roseannadanna,' and Melissa McCarthy did an amazing job portraying Chris Farley. She even threw in a "livin' in a van, down by the river" reference.

The best character tribute though, had to be Ed Norton. He played 'Stefon' - with all the updates on the hottest clubs and night-life. The best part was when Bill Hader (who actually plays 'Stefon') came out to help Norton out.
