Speciesism: Best Of Beth & Dave

We were feeling inspired as the calendar turned into December for the final stretch of 2018, so we created a new game, made up parody songs spontaneously on the air, delivered song requests for animals, and more on the Lite 98.7 morning show.

-Parakeet. It's not often you receive a song request from a bird. But, this week, we did. Hope PETA doesn't find it offensive.

-PETA strikes again. The latest news from the People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals is absurd. We discussed.

-National Cookie Day. Free cookies at all Doubletree hotels, including Hotel Utica. We made up an improv jingle on the spot.

-Luke Sky Walker. Yes, there was a criminal this week with that name, so we had to focus on his exploits in Your Momma Must Be So Proud.

-Name The Utica City FC Player. A new game we devised to give away some tickets to the big home opener for the new pro soccer team in town. Contestants had mixed results.
