All of us central New Yorkers are like "Yeah Spring can't come soon enough!" Not so soon dear friend, what I meant was...we need to spring our clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night.

Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday March 8th at 2am. The bad news is, we   theoretically lose an hour of sleeping time. The good news is, we are one day closer to the actual first day of spring! I was humming Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah in the hopes for an early spring, but then along came that pesky groundhog to give us his unfortunate prediction.

Fortunately for us, if Old Man Winter is paying attention, he is very scared of what we're about to do this weekend. In fact, he is shivering in his boots. He hates this time of year because it means his days are numbered. He'll soon be frightened off by warm sunshine and the heat of the day. Old Man Winter will soon melt away like the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz.

Let's give winter the boot! Please join me in singing a round of Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah . It will put a smile on your face. Don't worry, I won't judge your singing voice. You're co-workers may wonder what's up once you start humming, but after you hear this song once, it's stuck with you for the rest of the day!

Give it a listen, and before you go to bed Saturday night, set your clocks ahead one hour.
