Stevens Swan Humane Society in Desperate Need of Help
The Stevens Swan Humane Society in Utica is looking to you! Some of their supplies is running dangerously low, and you may be able to help.
The Stevens Swan Humane Society has been a part of the Rome and Utica communities for many, MANY years. They provide shelter for animals, educate the public when it comes to pets, and tons more. But to keep such a great facility running, sometimes they need a little help.
Earlier, The Stevens Swan Humane Society put a plea out on their Facebook Page. It stated,
WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF CANNED CAT FOOD; We are currently caring for over 150 cats and kittens, we go through many cans a day and the youngest kittens need the pate variety, that is what we use the most of, we will use any brand. Every can helps!
Caring for over 150 cats and kittens can get pretty costly, pretty fast. One can of cat food costs less than a dollar. And like their Facebook Page says, 'Every can helps!'
