A warning has gone out to the neighbors of a home in Sullivan where a burglar stole several guns. The first burglary happened around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on Route 173 in the Town of Sullivan. The homeowner called 911 to report that someone had broken into their house while they were in another part of the home. Apparently a second burglary happened around 5 p.m. that day.
According to CNY Central.com;

Deputies say the burglar ran out of the house to a metallic golden 4-door sedan, where another suspect was waiting and they took off. According to deputies, the burglar took an Apple iMac and an external hard drive.

"These stolen firearms have created a sense of utmost urgency,"   said investigators.

So be on the look out for anyone trying to use, pawn or sell recently acquired rifles and/or a shotgun.
