Strawberry Season In CNY – Where To Pick

Berry picking season in Central New York is WAY too short! So where can you pick your own strawberries right now?

Candella's in Marcy told us their strawberries are ready, and U-Pick begins Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 8am. Better head out early to get the best pick of the fields.

Tasselberry Farm in Westmoreland has U-Pick strawberries available right now, and they're open Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm, with weekend hours as well.

Picking your own fruits and vegetables can be a great lesson for our children.  Get them outdoors this summer, and show them how easy and fun it is to eat healthy, locally grown food.  Of course with kids, they end up eating and wearing just as much as you bring home!
