The Great New York State Fair has made unveiled two of the musical acts who will rock the stage at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse this summer.  Sugarland and Sara Bareilles take the stage on September 3.

Country music duo Sugarland will perform at the New York State Fair; show will also feature Sara Bareilles

Sugarland, winner of the Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards, is bringing its "Incredible Machine Tour" to the 2011 New York State Fair. Sara Bareilles, the Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, will open for the show.

The American country music duo of Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Grandstand.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7. They will cost $60 and $50 and will be available at the New York State Fair Box Office and through Ticketmaster. Admission to the Fair is included with the purchase of a Grandstand concert ticket on the day of the show. Sales will be limited to eight tickets per person for the first week of ticket sales.

"Sugarland is one of hottest country acts in America right now," said Dan O'Hara, New York State Fair director. "We are very excited this dynamic duo will be performing in our Grandstand line up this summer."

Sugarland, which was founded in 2002, has toured with Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban. The duo has had numerous No. 1 country singles including "Want To," "Settlin'," "All I Want to Do," "Already Gone," "It Happens" and "Stay."

In total, Sugarland's physical album sales have exceeded nine million copies with an additional five million digital tracks sold. The group's latest album, "The Incredible Machine" was certified platinum. Sugarland has been nominated for numerous awards and have won more than a dozen awards including one American Music Award; two Grammys; three CMT Music Awards; five Country Music Association Awards; and five Academy of Country Music Awards that includes the 2011 Vocal Duo of the Year award.

Sara Bareilles achieved mainstream success in 2007 with the hit single "Love Song," which brought her up to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Pop 100 chart.She has sold over one million records worldwide and has been nominated for a Grammy three times.

Tickets to see the concert will be available at the New York State Fair Box Office on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Box Office, which charges no service fees, will not be opened again until the next on-sale date. Regular hours will begin in early July. No one will be allowed to line up to buy tickets before 6 a.m. on May 7.

Ticket sales will be cash only at the State Fair Box Office as long as there is a line of customers. Credit cards (MasterCard and Visa) will be accepted after the line is gone.

Fans can also buy tickets online through Ticketmaster.com or order and pay by phone by calling 1-800-745-3000 or 1-866-448-7849.

Tickets for people with special needs - including those who are hearing impaired, use a wheelchair or have difficulty climbing stairs - will go on sale at the same time as general seating tickets. They can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the New York State Fair Box Office.

More New York State Fair concerts will be announced as their ticket information is confirmed. The 2011 Fair will run from Aug. 25 to Sept. 5.
