Are you ready for Super Bowl Sunday?  Snacks, pizza, football and those million dollar commercials are all party of the Big Game this Sunday.  Here are some Super Bowl fun facts as we gear up for Sunday's Super Bowl 48.The Denver Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey.  Kick off is 6:30.

According to tampabay.com, this is the first Super Bowl to be played outside, not under a dome, in a cold weather environment.

Super Bowl entertainment:  The Band Perry and Phillip Phillips will perform during the pregame show.  The national anthem will be sung by opera singer Renee Fleming.  The Half Time show features Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Fun Super Bowl facts:

Last year, more than 164 million Americans watched the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl has a world wide audience.  It'll be broadcast live in more than 180 countries and territories in over 25 languages.

The top three foods people will be munching at home while enjoying the game, according to the National Restaurant Association, are:

1. Dips, salsas and spreads.

2. Chicken wings.  Approximately 1.25 billion chicken wings will be eaten this weekend with Buffalo style the most popular choice.

3.  Pizza

Heads are favored in the coin toss.  In 47 Super Bowls, heads turned up 24 times, tails 23 times.

A thirty second ad during the Game costs about $4 million.

Should it start to snow, Met Life Stadium will have 1600 workers ready to shovel and get rid of the snow.
