A meteorologist from CNY Central received an email making fun of the way she looked and what she was wearing. She proved it's not okay to act like this, by firing back at the rude comments.

The problem with being completely connected to everything through social media and the internet, is some people feel their opinion is SO important and they MUST state it. The truth is, most people don't care about another person's opinion - Especially if it's extremely rude and not asked for.

Meteorologist Molly Matott from CNY Central was on the receiving end of an email that did just that - A person's own opinion that was rude and uncalled for. The worst part? Some of the email focused on parts of Matott's body, and made fun of the way she looked.

This is the outfit she was wearing that sparked the nasty email. She posted a picture on Twitter joking about how the website used this as their image:

A part of the email was posted by Today,

"I don't know, of course, who dresses Molly and I'm not trying to b (sic) mean or unkind but the way she is dressed today looks very much like she came directly from a night on the town to work!

"Good grief, have a little decorum and be more understated and conservative in your attire. There are so many things going on here and none of them are good, the range is from underarm boob fat, garish jewelry, clashes in color, AND makeup....I just turned on my television set and was shaken to the core (almost) at the sight of all of that going on this early on a Saturday morning!"

That's not okay. And Matott didn't stand for it.

The meteorologist took to Instagram to give her response saying that her job is to report the weather, and that she was sorry someone decided to focus on the way she looked instead. She also included the terms "underarm boob fat" as it was mentioned in the email, as an added punch.

It didn't stop there, though. Apparently the viewer didn't understand why Matott was upset, after all she was only offering some "constructive criticism."

Matott's respond to this?

"Girl bye."

Nicely done, Matott! Thank you for standing up to this rude viewer, and giving other women the confidence to fight back (in a professional style) to comments like this.
