Syracuse Woman Jumps Out Of Moving Car With Child In Backseat After Finding A Spider

Imagine backing out of your driveway and discovering you had a spider on your shoulder. What would you do? Would you freak out? One woman from Syracuse Indiana jumped out of her moving car, with a child in the backseat, due to a spider on her shoulder. 

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, a Syracuse woman jumped out of a moving car with her child in the backseat after discovering a spider on her shoulder.

An initial investigation shows that the boy’s 35-year-old mother had been backing the car out of her driveway when she discovered a spider on her shoulder and jump out while the car was still in reverse. The boy then climbed from the backseat to the front driver’s seat to push on the brake. Instead, the boy “depressed the throttle” of the car which then backed into the passing school bus, police said."

The boy was in stable condition with minor head injuries, no children riding in the school bus at the time. The driver was not injured in the crash either.
