Returning after a winter-break hiatus, 'Glee' is back on FOX with an episode that's all about taking gender roles and flipping them on their head: with a Sadie Hawkins' dance. You know, the dance where the girls ask the guys to the event that's never held in real life but seems to be in every high-school age sitcom at least once? That thing.
This week on 'Glee,' the girls turn the tables on the guys by asking them out for the 'Sadie Hawkins' dance. The episode features a wide range of music revolving around the dance, including the current No. 1 tune in the country, a classic TLC track, and a certain Sir Mix-a-Lot ode to the backside.
Despite the fact that 'Glee's somewhat awkward scheduling has left another hiatus from December 13's "Glee, Actually" all the way to January 24 premiere "Sadie Hawkins," FOX couldn't be more pleased with the series. And while last year's graduation plotlines led to a crossroads that saw the fourth season divided between New York and Ohio, is FOX already about to cue up additional seasons?
