As if we weren't already excited enough for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' movie, the track list for its soundtrack has just been released -- and it's jam packed with our favorite artists!

With the release of new song 'Atlas,' we finally get our first taste of the 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' soundtrack -- and get to hear new Coldplay music for the first time in two years!

We've not heard much from Coldplay this year, as the band wrapped massive promotion and touring for 'Mylo Xyloto' through the end of 2012. Pop rock fans will have their ears filled with Coldplay music again later this month, as the British band has contributed the brand new song 'Atlas' to 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' soundtrack...

'Princess of China' might make Coldplay and Rihanna the musical kings and queen of Britain. RiRi and Chris Martin's band are among the leading contenders for the 2013 BRIT Awards. The annual U.K. awards show today (Jan. 10) revealed its list of nominees, which also included a surprise nod for the late Amy Winehouse.

Even after a year and a half of non-stop touring, Chris Martin isn't ready to leave the road, but during the final Australian show of Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto Tour, he acknowledged that the band won't be touring again for a while.

Jay-Z and Coldplay will ring in the new year with a New Year's Eve concert on Dec. 31 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. This will be the second time the dynamic duo has celebrated the new year onstage together -- their first being in 2010 in Las Vegas.

Coldplay's 'Mylo Xyloto' album was created based on a single visual image, a burst of color amidst a dark world. That's according to guitarist Jonny Buckland, who describes the record and its corresponding tour in a new clip from the band's upcoming 'Live 2012' concert film and album.

Coldplay brought their French fans a pretty awesome surprise: Rihanna! The Bajan beauty joined the band onstage in Paris for their duet, ‘Princess of China,’ as well as a performance of a ballad version of her own breakthrough hit, ‘Umbrella.’

This is some sad, sad news for Coldplay fans! The band, who has spent a majority of 2012 on the road, decided that they would take it easy next year and take the entire year off! If only we had a job that allowed us to take an entire year off.

Adam Yauch, a member of the rap group The Beastie Boys, also known as passed away on Friday May 4.  That evening Coldplay was set to play the Hollywood Bowl in California.  Chris Martin and mates took the opporunity to do a stunningly beautiful cover of the Beastie's classic, "(You've Gotta) Fight For Your Right (to Party!)."

Coldplay have finalized their 2012 North American tour, adding dance-pop singer Robyn as one of their opening acts, in addition to lining up performances on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ this weekend following the Oscars and at the Amnesty International Secret Policeman’s Ball one week later in New York City.
