Two-time Super Bowl champion Hines Ward added another trophy to his collection Tuesday evening, as the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver was named the winner of 'Dancing With the Stars' season 12.

Ward, who impressed the judges the entire season, was a heavy favorite heading into Tuesday's finale, and saved room to thank partner Kym Johnson, the judges and his fans for his incredible run.

For Ralph Macchio, it was close, but not close enough.

The 'Karate Kid' star was officially kicked out of the 'Dancing With the Stars' season 12 competition Tuesday night, ending a somewhat rocky road to the semifinals.

Macchio, who began the season with an unexpectedly strong debut performance, thanked his fans and partner Karina Smirnoff for an unforgettable run on the show.

The 21-year-old, who received a standing ovation from the judges after he was eliminated, expressed mixed - but ultimately upbeat - thoughts on Tuesday's results.

Petra Nemcova is officially out of style, as the 31-year-old model was eliminated tonight from 'Dancing With the Stars' season 12.

The results weren't too surprising; Nemcova and partner Dmitry Chaplin's quickstep tied for the lowest judges' score on Monday (22).

Still, Nemcova was unable to fight back tears following her elimination, and later referred to her experience on 'Dancing' as "life-changing."

No season of 'Dancing With the Stars' would be complete without one of its stars falling live on the air, and last night, season 12 found its first victim: Kirstie Alley.

The fall happened at the beginning of Alley's Rumba, when partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy's thigh gave out.

The couple lost their footing for a moment as they tried to get back into the routine, but wound up impressing the judges, anyway -- enough to get a score of 21 out of 30 points.

'Dancing With the Stars' season 12 premiered tonight, and while it lacked the headline power of Kate Gosselin and Bristol Palin, there were plenty of memorable moments that will have everyone talking at the post-show watercooler. Here are the four that stood out the most:

1.) A Star Is Reborn
Ralph Macchio may not be the most famous member of the season 12 cast, but the 'Karate Kid' star definitely made a name for himself tonight with a show-stopping foxtrot. The routine earned Macchio and partner Karina Smirnoff the highest score of the night (24), and set the bar high for the rest of the season. After tonight, Macchio moved one quick step closer to the Mirror Ball Trophy.
