December 14, 2011 I just officially changed the city I live in from “Rome” to “Oriskany”. I moved a few weeks back and just realized it hasn’t changed yet. The process was pretty painless to change, but I guess that isn’t the case for all people.
Did you know that any message sent to you on Facebook which isn’t from a friend or a friend of a friend gets filtered into an “other” subfolder?
Most people don’t, and this means you probably have dozens of messages sitting on your Facebook page that you’ve never looked at before.

Facebook, Twitter and all the other social media sites have changed the way young people interact with each other, but according to a survey from Poll Position, the majority of Americans don’t think this has been a change for the better.
November 14, 2011 Remember when Facebook changed the way we Facebook? Status updates were buried under a pile of other ones Facebook thought was more important to you. If you went from confused to angry at this change, you'll be glad to know that Facebook has recently added an option that lets you have your old news feed back.
Facebook may have changed the way we communicate, keep up with long lost friends and pretend that we're doing actual work in the office, but it has come at a great cost to privacy. Now the federal government is forcing the social networking giant to ask all 800 million of their users if they wish to “opt out” of certain settings and features that might expose some of their personal information to the entire world.
We applaud these efforts to ensure our privacy, and we think it should be taken even further. Facebook should not only make sure that our most sensitive information isn't exposed to the general public, but they should also ask us if we want to “opt out” of the most annoying causes of social networking headaches that have spread like some virtual flesh eating bacteria that cannot be stopped.

Facebook announced a big overhaul of their user profile design at yesterday’s f8 developers conference. The redesign includes a chronological sorting of each user’s life in a feature they’ve dubbed the Timeline.
The feature automatically sorts all of a user’s Facebook activity over time (so you’ll be able to easily access those embarrassing wall exchanges with your old exes) and offers the ability to upload images or video from years past (your oversharing childhood pal is salivating over this). Despite the whining about the launch of their “top stories” feature this week, Facebook unveiled and even bigger change at the company’s F8 developer conference in San Francisco: Timeline.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that profile pages will soon automatically put photos, videos, status updates and status changes in chronological order. The timeline will also feature a “way back” section, which allows users to insert material from their pre-Facebook days.
September 22, 2011 Facebook is always changing it seems, and more changes hit yesterday with much dislike. Usually people freak out in the beginning and threaten to boycott, but then they get used to it and forget about it until the next change occurs. Google Plus or Myspace anyone?
