Groundhog’s Day And Traditions Like It
On February 2nd every year, people all across America wake up anxious to find out if Punxsutawney Phil in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania has seen his shadow. This tradition is known as Groundhog's Day. If Phil sees his shadow that means six more weeks of winter. If he does not see his shadow, it will be an early Spring. Let's pray for a cloudy Groundhog's Day.

When it was released in 1993, 'Groundhog Day' was only a modest success at the box office. But thanks to a hilarious lead performance from Bill Murray, an original script cowritten and directed by Harold Ramis and a cast that includes familiar faces like Chris Elliott and Andie MacDowell, it has gone on to become a comedy classic.
Shadow Or No?
Shadow Or No?
Shadow Or No?
Today was the day that the groundhog named Phil from Punxsatawny, PA emerges and either sees his shadow or doesn't. Apparently he has a shadow like Peter Pan's and it eluded him this time, so looks like an early spring is on the menu! Now let's just hope it comes in like a lamb rather than a lion! TIme to go watch me some Bill Murray!
