Is the New Madrid Fault Becoming Active Again?
The New Madrid Fault in Missouri was the site of one of America's largest ever series of earthquakes. Exactly 200 years removed from the quakes that caused the Mississippi River to flow in reverse, the region in Southeastern Missouri has been hit again with a 4.0 quake earlier this week.
