This weekend's 'New to Naomi' took me to Schuyler to check out Dave's Diner. Not only was the food good, but the ice cream cones were ridiculously huge!

It's another 'New to Naomi.' This weekend I checked out a new area - Canadarago Lake, and took on a new adventure, something I've never done before - kayaking.

With all the beautiful weather we've been having lately, I had to spend my weekend outside, soaking up that sunshine. I decided to hike out to Fox's Falls in Ilion and check out 'The View' in this week's 'New to Naomi.'

With a hammer in one hand and hope in my mind, I set out to find some Herkimer Diamonds in this segment of 'New to Naomi.'

It's back! I know it has been missing, but 'New to Naomi' came back this weekend (and will be back for awhile). This time I headed into Remsen to see what this area of Central New York had to offer.

Since I wasn't in town this weekend to do another 'New to Naomi' segment, I decided to give you a tour of my area. It's a reverse 'New to Naomi' - a 'New to Central New York.'

It was a packed house at the Utica AUD Saturday night for "Utica on Tap." I figured it was the perfect event to check out for another "New to Naomi."

This weekend I headed into Syracuse to watch the Utica Comets play against the Syracuse Crunch. Not only was it a fun game, but it was definitely a new experience for me.

This weekend I headed to the Ilion and Herkimer area to explore and have some fun, for another segment of "New to Naomi."

With the extremely cold winter weather this weekend I couldn't get out to try some skiing, but that wasn't going to stop me from having some fun. I decided to give ice skating a try for 'New to Naomi.'

This weekend I headed north for some amazing sight-seeing and winter adventures. Saranac Lake had their Winter Carnival, Lake Placid had the Empire Games - so much going on for one weekend.

I've heard of Utica's famous upside-down style pizza, but I never had a chance to try it... until now.
