How can we forget about the time that the alien world of Mer was being devoured by an evil liquid known as Dark Water. Only Ren, a young prince, could stop it. His loyal crew of misfits helped him in his journey and would stop at nothing to get the treasures. Pirates of Dark Water first premiered on Fox Kids in early 1991 as a five-part mini-series titled Dark Water. Then came a number of animation tweaks and other changes by Hanna-Barbera.

BraveStarr was a Western cartoon series that originally ran from September 87 to February 88. What a coincidence, it was developed at the same time that a collection of action figures hit the stores. Yesterday we talked a bit about Chip 'n Dale, the Rescue Rangers when when featured DuckTails. Today we'll highlight this American animated television that featured the established Disney characters Chip 'n' Dale in a new setting. The series premiered on the Disney Channel on March 4, 1989, having aired a preview episode ("Catteries Not Included") on August 27, 1988. The series premiered in national syndication with a two-hour movie special, Rescue Rangers To the Rescue, which was later broken up into a five-parter to air as part of the weekday run. The final episode aired on November 19, 1990.
