'Taxi' was a sitcom that aired from 1978 to 1982 on ABC and then from 1982 to 1983 on NBC. This was a show that gave us a glimpse of Manhattan life and they did such a good job that the show won 18 Emmy Awards, including three for Outstanding Comedy Series. Danny DeVito played the role of the abusive dispatcher of the city taxi drivers.

Being the father of two boys, reminiscing with Andy Griffith and Opie really touches my heart. I still recall the episode where Opie killed a bird with his slingshot and 'Pah' opened the window for Opie to here birds chirping with no momma bird to come feed them. On a lighter note, enjoy Opie trying to understand Horatio.
