It starred veteran film and radio comedienne Joan Davis as the manic wife of a mild-mannered community judge, Bradley Stevens. Her husband was played by Jim Backus of Gilligan's Island fame and the voice of Mr. Magoo. The show centered on Joan, a scatterbrained housewife, and her husband. Joan really had a baby face because Joan Davis, her real-life daughter co-starred on the show playing the part of her sister.
