Adam Lambert‘s gig fronting Queen at the Sonisphere Knebworth festival in the U.K. this summer has been canceled — not because of anything that Lambert or the band did, but because the organizers of the festival have canceled the whole event altogether.

You may have heard on the Lite 98.7 morning show an explanation of how Lady Gaga chose her name. We would play a snip it of the 1984 hit from Queen, 'Radio GaGa' and explain the Lady Gaga is such a big fan that she uses gaga in her name. Well it appears that Queen is looking to fill the void left by the late Freddie Mercury, and Lady Gaga is being considered for it. Guitarist Brian May says that it now looks as though the pop diva is at the top of the list.

Nothing quite says “pressure” quite like the last night of competition on a nationally televised singing competition — so it’s only fitting that the four judges of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ came together to duet on the Queen and David Bowie classic ‘Under Pressure.’

The quartet — Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, and Christina Aguilera — took the stage for a loose version of the song, starting off in unison before Shelton, Levine, and Cee Lo took turns soloing at the mic. Aguilera, naturally, added plenty of melismatic vocal runs.
